How to Set Up IPTV on Roku

Vivimate·April 2026

Heads up: Roku locks down third-party app installs more tightly than Firestick or Android TV. Screen mirroring from an Android device is the quickest workaround. If you want a native, full-featured experience, a Firestick is worth considering — check our Firestick setup guide.

Method 1: Screen Mirror from Android (Quickest Option)

1On your Roku, go to Settings → System → Screen Mirroring → Enable Screen Mirroring.
2On your Android phone, download and install IPTV Smarters Pro from the Play Store.
3Log into IPTV Smarters Pro with your Vivimate credentials using the Xtream Codes API option.
4Pull down the Android notification bar and tap Screen Cast or Smart View.
5Choose your Roku device from the list of available screens.
6Your Android display — along with the IPTV stream — will appear on your Roku TV.

Method 2: Add a Private IPTV Channel on Roku

1On a computer browser, go to my.roku.com and sign into your Roku account.
2Go to Manage Account → Add Private Channel.
3Type in the private channel access code (contact Vivimate support to receive your code).
4Click Add Channel to attach it to your account.
5On your Roku device, press Home → Streaming Channels and scroll down to find the newly added private channel.
6Open the channel and enter your Vivimate M3U URL or Xtream credentials to start watching.
