TiviMate is one of the most widely used IPTV apps on Firestick and Android TV boxes— and it's not hard to see why. While competitors have improved over the years, TiviMate is still the one most often recommended for its interface and the depth of its program guide.
This review describes what TiviMate offers and where it falls short, to help US cord-cutters decide whether it, and its Premium tier, are worth setting up. It is not a lab test: we publish no scores or measurements for it. TiviMate is a third-party app made by Armobsoft FZE, and Vivimate is not affiliated with it. It works with any Xtream Codes service, including our own, Vivimate IPTV.

EPG (TV Guide)
TiviMate's program guide is the feature that separates it from every competing IPTV app for US viewers. It renders a grid of titles, start times and descriptions across your channels, for as many days ahead as your provider's guide data covers.
How quickly the guide fills in on first setup depends on the size of your provider's guide file. TiviMate Premium adds recording to external storage.
4K Playback Performance
Whether a 4K channel plays smoothly depends mostly on three things the player does not control: the provider's stream, your connection and your device. Test a 4K channel during the evening peak, on the device you will actually watch on, before relying on it; the internet speed IPTV needs explains the connection side.

TiviMate Cost — How Much Does TiviMate Premium Cost in 2026?
TiviMate is free to download and use on any Android TV device or Firestick. The paid tier, TiviMate Premium, is bought inside the app. The developer, Armobsoft FZE, does not publish a single Premium price; its Google Play listing(US store, checked 13 October 2026) lists in-app purchases from $0.99 to $33.99 per item. TiviMate Premium is purchased through the Google Play Store — it cannot be bought directly from TiviMate's website. On Firestick, you'll need to sideload TiviMate first, then purchase Premium through Google Play on an Android device or Android TV box.

TiviMate Not Working? What to Check First
Most TiviMate problems come from the playlist details or the provider's data, not from the app. Work through the symptom you see:
The playlist will not add
Re-enter the server URL exactly as your provider sent it, including http:// and any port number after the colon. Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive, and a stray space copied from a message is enough to make the login fail.
The TV guide is empty
With Xtream Codes, the guide data comes from your provider. Run a manual guide update from TiviMate's settings and give it a few minutes on a large list. Channels that still show no information are not covered by the provider's guide.
Programmes are an hour or more out
Check the time zone on the Firestick or Android TV device before changing anything inside TiviMate. A wrong device clock shifts every listing.
Channels or groups have disappeared
Providers rename and regroup channels. Refresh the playlist from TiviMate's playlist settings, then re-add any favourites that pointed to the old entries.

Who Should Skip TiviMate?
Skip it if your household watches mainly on an iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Roku or Windows PC: TiviMate does not run on any of them. Samsung and LG smart TVs run their own operating systems rather than Android TV, so TiviMate cannot be installed on them directly either.
