M3U Playlist or Xtream Codes: Which Login Should You Use?
Use Xtream Codes whenever your app supports it. You enter three fields (server URL, username and password) and the app loads live channels, movies, series and the TV guide as separate sections.
An M3U playlist is a single link that lists every stream. It works in almost any player, including VLC and Perfect Player, which do not accept Xtream Codes. The guide usually needs a second link, an XMLTV address, added separately. A long playlist also loads more slowly on low-powered devices.
Whichever you choose, treat the link and the login as private. Anyone holding them can use your connections. If a login stops working, check for a typing error in the server address before asking your provider.
