Verdict: IPTV lists more content for one flat fee; NOW is licensed and sells Sky’s channels.
NOW splits its offering across separate Entertainment, Cinema, and Sports memberships. An IPTV subscription is one flat fee covering a 55,000+ channel lineup and 180,000+ on-demand titles. NOW, though, holds the rights to sell Sky’s channels, including Sky Sports; this site does not publish content-distribution licences for Vivimate IPTV and does not claim Sky’s channels on it.

The NOW Sports Membership
NOW’s Sports membership is the cheapest contract-free, licensed way to watch Sky Sports in the UK, and it is the most expensive of NOW’s memberships. Check NOW’s current price in pounds before comparing; this page does not quote it. Sky Sports and TNT Sports hold the UK’s live Premier League rights, so a NOW Sports membership covers Sky’s share of matches but not TNT’s.
If Sky Sports is why you are looking, NOW is the licensed route. This site does not claim Sky Sports or Premier League coverage on Vivimate IPTV. See also: IPTV vs Sky TV.
When NOW TV Still Makes Sense
- ▸One-off sporting events — day passes or weekend passes for a single match or tournament make sense financially.
- ▸Sky’s own channels — Sky Sports, Sky Atlantic and Sky Cinema are licensed to NOW, and it is a contract-free way to get them.
- ▸Gifting — NOW TV gift cards are easy to buy and give as presents for sports fans.
For regular viewing of general entertainment and on-demand titles, an IPTV subscription usually costs less than stacking several NOW memberships. For Sky’s own channels, including Sky Sports, NOW is the licensed choice.
